My N15 5-door GTi Build...

Lol nah all good pointers, as I said first time drag racing since the turbo setup and a totally different gearbox, had no time to play with tyre pressures and not really enough runs to get used to the car.
Happy with the outcome regardless!

I still have a built SR20VE with ITB's

Needs dropping into an MX5,i bet that would be quicker down the strip than yer beast ;)
FWD is for fun and tow cars,RWD is for fun and more fun. (JMHO)
Why not try a RWD Almera conversion? anyone done anything like that?
Modern Escort styleeee for cheap :)

I have a BMW 330d that I drive daily and drift, the Almera is just a total toy for the weekends and after driving a RWD car the feeling of response and that you get with a sorted FWD car is just second to none. I still get enjoyment from FWD.

To close off this thread, this car was unfortunately scrapped in 2015 due to excessive rust in multiple places, the story doesn't end there though - as I put some of my parts into another N15, which I will be starting a thread for shortly.

The Red 5 door is regularly missed, and so much enjoyment was had from it, over a period of around 8 years, what a fantastic car, and lots of awesome folks met along the way too.
