Have sprung a leak in the left rear brake line very close to the union with the flexible hose,so looking for replacement? Plenty of flexible hoses available, but no front to back pipes that I can see. Is the answer to have a custom made steel/copper pipe made up, ?

Thanks, yes 110kg is a little low for nose weight for this job. Is there no aftermarket stiffer springs available? Standard ones do appear small. Towbar height is within correct range. I guess Almera is not considered a towing wagon.

Brian James "Clubman" 4 wheel trailer loaded with Morris Minor, well balanced.Used to do this for a living--it tows very well,but concerned about the rear looking a little low.

Been doing a lot of towing lately with car trailer, and noted that the rear looks a little sagged. Are there any uprated springs/dampers available or recommended please? Also, am I likely to harm the auto box when towing? Its an Ni6 1.8 from '04.

Just in conclusion, puller arrived and worked a treat helped by a few taps when under compression. Just need some new trim fixings, are they available from dealers, or is it back to the scrappy?

Sorted the lock problem by cleaning/lubricating and have ordered a puller from Ebay. Thanks for suggestions.

Crikey, I ruled out the heat option due to the rubber/plastic moulding behind it. Did you cause any damage? I have got a complete replacement tailgate so have some "spares". I'll try it tomorrow.

Has anyone had the need to remove the rear screen wiper ARM from the drive spindle please. I am changing my damaged tailgate complete but am at a loss on how to get the arm complete, off the spindle. I have soaked it in plus gas and tried tapping,levering etc. I do have a 3 legged puller but...
