how do i update my satnav

hello
i hope someone can help, i have just aquired a 2003 almera tino sve with a navtech navigation unit and i want to update the maps, is there a seperate cd/dvd player fitted to the the car or does the indash cd player take the update cd disk ?
can anyone enlighten me please ?

There should be a separate DVD unit for the map disc. I'm not sure where it would be on a Tino, but it's underneath the normal CD player in the normal N16 Almera (it should have a "DVD-ROM" logo underneath it):

i heard somewhere that it was either under the passenger seat or behind the glove box but i have searched for it with no luck ! i cant even see anything that remotely looks like it would take a disk. frustrating :confused:

i just found it under the passenger seat sunken into the floor with a plastic sliding cover over it !
