Henry the toledo

how long have you had the oem on for? takes a good few day's on some engine's to settle down.
Usually too with no fault codes showing point's to the maf.

Doesn't this car have 2 lamda sensor's?

What you thinking, chain stretch?

If it was it'd be throwing up crank and cam sensor codes immediately.

Have you had the plugs out Pel?

Condensation can rust out the connecting ends of the coilpacks like.

Pulled one of the coil packs and threw up a fault code relating to tbat pack straight away. Charles, I hammered it round the 25 last night, maybe I do need to just wait and see how it goes, I started thinking it could be exhaust related because it feels like a blockage, it's that down on power and all of a sudden clears amd away we go.
I had issues with the lambda last year, the cable is huge and broke loose and dragged along the floor, which I bodged back up, need to get under to check it out but getting too old now lol

It's not a huge voltage made by the lamda's so check the wiring bodge or renew it.
and yeah if the baffles collapse in side the zorst it will be down on power.
also to add if its down on power then goes then comes back possibly fuel pump... maybe fuel related?.....have you banged under the cat converter for rattling around inside?

edit-when you drive it and floor the gas, so to speak does it red line freely?

and what fault code scanner you got?---does it have the live data?

Ive been using the torque app to read the codes.
Took it to pick up weeman today, 50 mile trip and it was ok to start with, then when I put my foot down it was bogging down massively, no codes though. Then clears itself but feels down on power

Does it stop dead at speed say like wont go over 60-70mph or so? no matter how far your foot is planted on the throttle?

Did you check the connection from the damaged wiring off the lamda?

No it will quite happily go to any speed but not smoothly.
I haven't checked the wiring but I know from previous that having the fault code up doesn't affect the running of it.

sound's like a bit of fuel starvation to me....my guess the pump and when was the last time the fuel filter was changed?

and what's the make of the maf?
