    But does the Di have a SCV and if it did, as the fuel pump is different on the Di (Bosch fuel system), would it suffer the same problem as on the Denso DCi?

    Essentially the 112 is different turbo, no intercooler, different mapping, and different transmission.

    Can't think of anything else you could try. Yup do the reset, and check seat connections. Apart from that I'm unsure. Normally it blinks so yes maybe on all the time means something more sinister. Check the FSM as it will tell you want all that means.

    You're after 4x114.3 PCD. Offset will depend on width, but to start you off, 7J ET35 is a safe bet.

    I would use a proper insert take off for hoses. Wouldnt take much for a leak.

    No I do understand. Also the forum search is not as good as it used to be either so that can't help. It's not obvious to new people that you 'should' post in the question and answers thread, and the trouble with that is that thread is there's no title thrown up to attract the right attention...

    It's because non-paid members can only access the 'other' section in the technical forums, so they end up posting in that. As for breaking down the paid for sections, I agree that would be better, but who do you suggest spends the hours it would take to go through all the threads for move them...

    The FSM is probably the best thing to follow though I'm afraid, so be prepared to get a bit scared and crack on lol I've had my ESP light on for a while too but it's not bothered me. Be good to know if you fix it though as that could be my issue too.

    Yeah it's a shame it's not a bolt on job. Would make it easier for removing engine too! The phase 2s do seem to be a lot better treated though. I take it your 2003 model is pre-facelift?

    1. Yes it's possible, but very difficult and A LOT of work, and the key would be getting the loom and all parts that come from a model with it. This won't be cheap. It would be easier and cheaper to just add AC without the climate control. 2. Yup all the same. 3. Not quite sure what you mean...

    Yeah that MAP pipe is a big restriction and I've planned to change that section from IC to intake manifold for 2" custom pipes for a while. Just needs mounts for the MAP sensor and a take-off for boost measurement and it'll be reet.

    Tap into the boost pipe. Either use the superfluous mounting thread on the MAP pipe and drill through that like Liam and I have done, or buy one of those hose tap inserts off ebay.
