My mates got the 18'' mayhem, very nice sounding sub. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2t13hwii3wo
You should have bought a mayhem off Am singh a few months back, he was selling like 16 of them out of his chevvy. He only wanted 300quid a piece.
far from it. orion subs need 1500rms and can go upto 3500k for daily use. almost impossible to burn out. awesome sub for money better that AA mayhems and Fi BTLs, only down side is that they weigh 38kg per sub and require around 5-6cft to really make them sing. however the d5000 does require a...
i prefer between 30-33hz myself. My 15.2 orion was 6.2cft @ 31hz. for only 2k rms it did damage. Orion set ups are excellent for the money, anything equivalent is usually pricey.
heres one of my old boxes...
2k? no chance maybe a few years ago brand new then yes. These days you cant really get them new besides 1 shop in huddersfield (west yorkshire). To get the sub running 10K rms would cost you a 2K maybe. lol
I sold a full HCCA set up for about 700 two days ago. HCCAs are really good value for...
LoL, depends on if you take my amp with it too, massive audio p3000.1 3000rms @ 2 ohms. The sub is in a custom made box around 6.4Cft (after port and sub displacement!) @32Hz.
I previously was running a orion hcca 15.2 off a d5000 but the lil almera cudnt hope. the voltage was soo bad that it wudnt pick up on the smallest of hills. I ended up selling and getting a small vibe active sub. Now that ive got my new almera i was hoping to get a small set up again. I think...
i know all this but im trying to avoid a battery in the boot. I just wanted to know how much power can it handle without the extra battery. People say standard cars can handle between 500-800rms without any problems, which ive seen is generally true. I know at one point harcore_tid was running...
Lol. ive tried looking for an alternator in the past but couldnt find nothing to fit direct. The only option seems to be custom brackets but this not worth it.
