Why not adjust the coilovers? Raise them slightly so that the wheels are not rubbing the arches.

I think they are Autech wheels 1.1kg lighter than the standard uk gti wheel i think.

Almera SIs didnt come with fogs. I know the wires are there but they may need an addition relay.

A gti centre pipe and back box will fit.

They are interchangable I believe. Ive used ph2 fogs in a ph1 bumper in the past.

you could buy a good 1.4/1.6 and just convert it using your current engine and stuff. Only takes a day to do it if you know what your doing. Plus gives you the option of having a 5dr sr20.

You've got all the parts you need to start fresh anyway. Exhaust system, wheels, coilovers etc Wait for the cheque! Buy another gti, this time one thats been looked after and then dont chase anyone anymore...lol

I wouldnt bother spending any money on repairing it. Buy yourself another gti and start fresh. That cars slow, already been sprayed once before and has got BARE rust issues.
