Got the rear coilovers on today ! A lot easy than the front I might add ! She looks a whole lot better !

I think it's around 3-4 threads past the bottom ! Not to sure tho ! Think I'll take them back up so there flush with the bottom of the strut ! If that makes sense. ! I'm not quite sure how to adjust them tho ! Do I loosen the two that are together first ?

Made a start on fitting the coilovers ! Bloody nuts on the bottom strut ain't Seen the light of day in 14 years ! Shit took some shifting ! And then it rained ! 2 Down ! 2 ta go ! Not sure wether I should heighten it ? But once the back ones are on it should technically bring the front up...

No ! I'm having faux fur for my interior ! Lol !

I was looking to source 2 slat grille (black) so i could swap between the two ! Great minds indeed think alike ! Next time I'm up in Scotland bud ! Try to get in your own car ! Lol !

There's a few other things which I'm going to do ! These arrived today from Andy S ! A set of BC Coilovers ! Cheers Andy ! Will hopefully get these on tomorrow ! How much work is involved guys ?

Some of the parts I've sourced from the great EGAY ! X4 uniroyal rainsport 2 ( 195/50/15) ( needed some in a hurry ) guy said they were around a week old ! Some new front fog lamps ( as my fogs were both cracked - think these are phase 1 fogs but there in mint condition and work which is the...

Next up was too refurb the wiper arms as they were looking a little tired ! Again I used the Dremel to sort the oxidised metal , flatted them back then primed and painted with the old rattle cans !

I saved myself a few hundred quid by deciding to refurb the Gti alloys myself ! There was a fair bit of curb damage but nothing too major ! So I set about them with the Dremel tool and using various grades of wet And dry got them sorted and painted ! Not perfect by any means but a pretty decent...

Next on the list was to get the bodywork somewhere near decent ! over the course of the last few weekends I have had both sides , front and rear bumpers , hood and a small repair done on the tailgate ! Don't think it was going to be such a big job ! Turned out rather well in fact !
