PE Rolling Road Figures 31st Oct 2009

I've always understood what you're saying Ed, I'm not one of the bad guys. All I've done is try to point out that, the whole weight thing doesn't come into it on an inertia dyno and even if it could somehow be done, it wouldn't count for shit anyways, as there are just too many variables when in...

PE Rolling Road Figures 31st Oct 2009

LOL.. I think you have a hole in your bulkhead and your brain has become overloaded with DERV fumage. "then it would produce readings more true to the way the car performs on the road.".. They have already created a dyno just for that, it's called a variable load dyno. There are...

PE Rolling Road Figures 31st Oct 2009

Just to pick up on Eddies & Eds comments regarding weight.. A dynopack meaures rotational forces and NOT translational. The car is spinning the drum (not moving it), weight has no factor here in measuring the power.

PE Rolling Road Figures 31st Oct 2009

And also to mention RR's and power figures in general. You can drive a car to 3 different RR's in the same day and see 3 very different figures, it's all down to the RR / dyno setup. Naturally we all want to see a big figure cos it makes us happy LOL but all you really want to be looking at...

PE Rolling Road Figures 31st Oct 2009

Ed - Just to add, I was chatting to Ian about yout car whilst we were tabbing and he reckons that with a remap or magic box of tricks (normal derv tuning box jobbie etc), as long as the fuelling is spot on, he thinks 180 - 190 BHP is achievable on your car (as well as monster torque).

    Greetings from Japan

Don't be getting confused with your Bluebirds Darren... The one we know and the one we're talking about here (the Bluebird Sylphy) share just one common factor, the name "Bluebird".. It was Nissan's attempt to keep the name going, there are no other similarities. The Sylphy didn't get the SR20 :)

    Greetings from Japan

Welcome Scott.. The Bluebird Sylphy and specifically the QG18DE engine.. Are there "off the shelf" performance parts available for it your end? The P11 144 Primera has this engine and there's sod all we can get it for it here.. I'd love to source a performance header etc. Enjoy the...

    Blue GTi R384 *** Gosport / Hants

Pretty sure it was R384 summing or other.. Oddly enough I saw it twice in the same day. 1st in St Nick avenue and then heading into town. Absolutely minty condition and clean as you like.. It had black alloys with a polished rim. Anyone on here?

    Best paint Blue?

By the looks of it, you have your heart set on a dark blue? How about a lighter blue? That's the Nordic blue (Nissan genuine paint etc).

Who Said Girls Cant Do Mods This Is My Baby

Girls can mod cars but can they spell and use punctuation? Car's coming along nicely - It's your car and your personal touches at the end of the day. You can't expect everyone to like it and if you can't take the negative comments, you shouldn't be posting piccies :)
