    Lowering on standard shocks

35mm generally can be used with standard shocks but uprated shocks are recommended. With mileage that low probably won't be a problem if your shocks are in reasonable condition.

    Ed's P11-144 SR20 Sport+

Good choice for a temp/daily. Nice buy. I want google glasses that make life look like Ed's photos. Nothing wrong with the looks that wrapping a black N16 around the engine wouldn't cure ;-)

    Buying 1998 phase 2 's sport' 3 door almera

For a first car a 1.4 in good order is an excellent choice. Cheap to run and insure and if you look after it then incremental mods over a few years will not make the insurance too ridiculous (with a mod-friendly insurer, we have a few on the forum). With the cash you save over insurance on a...

    Buying 1998 phase 2 's sport' 3 door almera

On the plus side a good shell is hard to find. Good candidate for an engine transplant but (and no offense meant) that's probably only economical for someone with the tools and skills to DIY.

    Buying 1998 phase 2 's sport' 3 door almera

That's what googling suggested.. what sort of sport can a 1.4 do? Chess? Carpet bowls?

    Buying 1998 phase 2 's sport' 3 door almera

The thing that worries me is the "s sport" .. never heard of it.. only a couple of results on Google and they are 1.4l models with about 85hp, not the 2.0l (GTi) with 145hp.

    Buying 1998 phase 2 's sport' 3 door almera

Welcome along. An N15 chassis Pulsar is just another name for an N15 chassis Almera. Different names for different markets. The earlier N14 chassis 'Sunny' was also called a 'Pulsar' in other markets. The GTi-R was rally version of the N14 Sunny/Pulsar (you have to sell 5000+ of a model to the...

    Welcome

Welcome to the AOC. The 1.5 is tuned for economy and is quite heavy.. I'm afraid slow comes as standard. 2002 model dash (with no integrated satnav) is a price of cake to take apart, yank the chubby hole forward and unplug hazard light switch. Pull off the trim at the bottom indeed the ashtray...

    N15 Wiper problems

Assume rear as op states wiper rather than wipers. You just have to remove the super, interior hatch trim, motor and gear assembly. Open the gear assembly and move the pin to the opposite side then refit. 15 minute job. Pretty sure there is a guide with pics in the how-to forum. Edit...

    G's Vzr N1

Not half bad for a mobile. Subject matter helps immensely, though. Have always thought that an all-black Lucino grille was the only way to go. I'll make an exception for white colour-coded from now on. Is it just me or do all Almera sideskirts look too high against the bumpers?

    How to remove dealer sticker?

Hairdryer should melt the glue a bit. If it's a badge (hard plastic with foam backing) rather than a sticker hairdryer to heat up glue and dental-floss or fishing line to cut through the foam works. Defiantly need sticky-stuff remover (or lighter fluid/petrol) and rubbing with kitchen rolll oget...
