Finally some good news. After all the issues I've had with the electrical system after my gasket change I found the culprit. The ECU plug, which is held in by a central bolt like the Almera, was loose! I have been blaming the Dastek Unichip up until now so I ordered a bypass plug for it last...
1) V-Power will be fine. I wouldn't worry about adjusting the timing.
2) Your car won't be 'chipped' There aren't really any 'chips' that work with the ECU.
3) Popping isn't really a good thing so it just goes to show your fuelling is fine as it is.
4) Generally the timing chain tends to rattle...
Looks nice mate and I love the strut braces you've put in.
The only thing Ipicked up on is the bonnet gap at the front. It seems to be sitting high, above the level of the wing. A minor issue but everything else is spot on.
