Timing chain stretch would be my guess. You can change the cam sensor first to see if that cures it though.
If you take the timing chain cover off there is the chain tensioner. If that is extended more than 10mm then it likely that the chain has stretched and need replacing.
Your car has been crashed. That's why the front end is a different colour and your grille doesn't fit. Carbon wrap is not a look I like personally but each to their own.

Well that's not strictly true. I was in the motor trade for 10 years so I'm not totally starting from zero. It's a bigger job than I've done before though. Steep learning curve.
This is a delayed update from last weekend. Rain did indeed stop play on the Sunday but I managed to scrounge a bit of floor space inside and work on the frame a bit more out of the wind.
I lifted the shell of and turned it turtle once more so I could get to the sills.
