If I was a traffic cop I wouldn't need to get my speedy gun out-i'd hit my quota on dodgy hid kits and foglight fuckwits every day easily.one of my pet hates-usually mk4 golfs or saxos around here
It's a long long way off jealousy-last nice car bm made was in the 80s/90s in my opinion-i'd have an old 635csi or an 8 series but nothing later than that-just don't like them.I drive a 120d m sport at work a bit and it's nowt special at all
Did it just stop or lose some speeds first? may be the resistor card gone if it did-had to put a new one in the fabia a bit ago as it was it's week for something to go wrong on the Skoda
Common cars get real rare-real quick...especially if they were a bit shit in the day...couldn't tell you when I last saw a metro, orion, fiat coupe etc on the road
Welcome to the club Arthur-first upgrade should be to secure tyres to the sides of your car as per the picture-may help with the parking dings hehe-just kidding
Shame that-serious onset of tinworm hidden behind the bumper in the inner wings was the reason mine went-fabricator by trade and in all honesty I could have saved it had I had the desire,-which I didn't,decent car but not a great car I wanted to spend my weekends on-If it is chain problems on a...
What I love about the Bridgestones is that they simply do not aquaplane, skoda's are down to 4/5 mm on the front and still around 6 mm rear after 20k miles, gonna swap them round at work this week.Lagunas are still as new as only done about 5k on them, and they give a sad self satisfaction-used to...
Personally i'd put the conti on the back and have the all seasons on the driven wheels for winter,Ideally get four all season if your budget allows-I have Bridgestone A001's all round on both our cars and they are a very good all season tyre
Not sure if it's the same on all cars but if it works on full then generally it'll be the resistor card, had it last winter on the skoda-just had fan setting 3 and four, then 3 gave up...now position motor has gone haywire too....gotta love VAG and their dodgy electrics!
I prefer the disc shaped wire wheels in a grinder over flappy discs personally for seeing what your dealing with, blending discs are just that, and are dear and lose about 80% of their efficiency in about five minutes.as for the welding bit-gasless ain't great in fact the only thing it does better...
