Update:
Cleared my car through MOT today. Completely refreshed the front end (links, bushes, full wishbones etc) and it turns out there was hardly any rust whatsoever on the underside so there wasn't much to weld.
Cost me fair but i'm pretty fecking chuffed. The handling is awesome now...
You guys are correct, selling it as a whole would be a lot better and would give somebody the chance to get it to 100% again.

They have a pretty decent wear rate. I had 7000 b-road miles on mine and they didn't seem very worn. They have a better wear rate than the Yoko's but the Yoko's are still a pretty decent tyre.

When I had some amped components in the almera I managed to do it using all the stock wiring.
I used the iso plugs by firstly finding out which wires were for the front two speakers and then chopping them of so no power was output to the front speakers from the deck.
