    Our new GTi!

Update: Cleared my car through MOT today. Completely refreshed the front end (links, bushes, full wishbones etc) and it turns out there was hardly any rust whatsoever on the underside so there wasn't much to weld. Cost me fair but i'm pretty fecking chuffed. The handling is awesome now...

    Our new GTi!

You guys are correct, selling it as a whole would be a lot better and would give somebody the chance to get it to 100% again. I'm currently in the process of getting a thread together.

    GRP Parts, now available

It's always good to see more "bits" being made for our Almera's. I've no intention of purchasing a bonnet, but i'm just wondering what the actual weight saving is?

    Tyres

They have a pretty decent wear rate. I had 7000 b-road miles on mine and they didn't seem very worn. They have a better wear rate than the Yoko's but the Yoko's are still a pretty decent tyre. If you are thinking longterm and need decent wet/dry grip with a good wear rate then i would...

    Tyres

Yeah, the Yokohama have a pretty bad wear rate. I had Toyo's on my previous modded Gti and they never lost grip in the wet.

What specific size are you after? There's a bit of a jump in price between the 195/50 and 195/55.

    FAO: Everybody with 17" wheels

Faarkin hell Raceworx those are wide! They must have had some damn good grip.

    FAO: Everybody with 17" wheels

Maybe the rubbing was due to the width(215)? I'm changing to a 30mm drop so i guess 205/45 is worth a punt.

    FAO: Everybody with 17" wheels

Quick question, what size tyres are you currently running? I'm wondering if i can get away with a 45 profile as the 205/40/17's i have now, need replacing. I think that the 45's may be too big?

    Our new GTi!

Mate, the only incident i've had with my car is when i slammed a pothole and wrecked a damper some weeks back. I've never had a shunt in this.

    Amping Door Speakers...

When I had some amped components in the almera I managed to do it using all the stock wiring. I used the iso plugs by firstly finding out which wires were for the front two speakers and then chopping them of so no power was output to the front speakers from the deck. Then I ran two long...

If i don't get my hands on the F1's, i'll be in touch with you. With regards to the northern meet, it would be great to go down. The only snag is how flexible my workplace is with holidays.
