come to pick up my new gti and the sidelights are stuck on even with the switch off is this a common issue or some stupid fault ?

I have come across a set of rear arches for a 5 door almera that states 1998 model it also states that it fits a 3 door to, I was wondering will these fit my P reg gti 3 door ? as mines a 1996.... Thanks in advance kinda need a answer ASAP so i know wether to try n buy them :) Thanks Dave

Well, i got a lockset off a member from here and decided to fit the ignition first however.... how on earth do i remove the old ignition barrel, the heads of the bolts are filled in on the bracket that mounts the barrel to the steering column and i cant see a way to drill them out from there or...

been offered lock set and key fobs to replace my missing fobs however i dont know what parts of the system i need so the fobs will work ? anyone know what parts are needed and where i need to take them from, thanks again Dave

I just aquired a PH1 GTI, it has a NATS system fitted, but i dont have a keyfob for it, the car starts fine and unlocks with the key well the passenger door does drivers door lock is butchered... basically im wondering if this car would have originally had a keyfob to open and lock the doors ...

Will 17" alloys fit on without any difficulty as i have seen a rather nice set i fancy and its near enough as cheap to buy them with tyres as it is to replace all the knackered tyres on my newly aquired gti :(

Hi, just got my hands on a P reg GTI and the rear window on the drivers side leaks in as its not fitted properly and the rubber seal is not in place, its just help in with putty as far as i can tell, just wondering if anyone would know where to get one of these seals from and how to fit them ...

Hi there, new GTI owner, just got hold of it on the cheap and it needs a bit of work unfortunately and some rusty bits treated and sorted.... etc... Anyone know of good garages in Cumbria for almeras ? and decent parts suppliers ? Thanks Dave
