    Was it you?

And another today. I was parked at the side of the road loading the kids up. Along comes another Ice Blue N16 (different plate to the one above), he rolls down his window and asks, "What are you doing with my car?!"

    Was it you?

(A thread like this is pretty popular in another car club forum I patron, so I thought I'd give it a go here) It's a quiet road somewhere in Coventry. I'm stopped at a red light in my Ice Blue N16. Another Ice Blue N16 approaches me from the opposite direction. The driver gave a big smile...

Nissan Almera 2006 1.5 dci diagnostic equipment needed

I have no experience with Consult (and don't really have the intention to familiarise myself with it). TorquePro has served me well for clearing codes, reading live data from sensors, logging sensor readings, etc. For the most part this is really all I need for the Almera. If we're talking...

Nissan Almera 2006 1.5 dci diagnostic equipment needed

A write-up here which you might have already gone through about Consult: https://www.almeraownersclub.com/threads/consult-information.51975/ Personally, I use a Bluetooth OBD2 thingy with TorquePro on my Android phone.

Sounds like a power issue. There are (at least) three related fuses as per the service manual: Hope this helps.

    Brake caliper mounting bolts

Please confirm the correct part number directly with Nissan. I got the part numbers from http://nissan4u.com/parts/ but I'm not sure whether you were referring to the front or rear brakes.

    Brake caliper mounting bolts

You are not wrong. I just had a look-up of the related part numbers online and the only hits I got was from eBay US. I suppose your next bet is with Nissan, or perhaps find a replacement that is based on the dimensions of the existing bolt. Best of luck.

    Phew, it's hot today

At least now I know the display goes up to 43° C! How high has yours gone up to? p/s: I think my display's missing some lines there. I wonder if it's worth replacing with another one?

N16 1.5 QG - Interior room lamp not lighting up

Seems like the issue has been resolved! It turned out to be dodgy contacts at the switch. Once I cleaned them up a bit, everything was working again.

N16 1.5 QG - Interior room lamp not lighting up

Hello all, Let's liven this forum up a bit, shall we? :D My N16 1.5 QG Almera has a non-working interior room lamp. The lamp does not turn on with the door or by manual switching. I've tried looking at the fuse for it but I don't think anything is wrong there (I think it shares the same fuse...

    Almera air filter

What I would do is search the relevant part number, e..g, 165463J400, on websites like autodoc, or even eBay.

It's pretty quiet here, isn't it?

I stumbled upon this video on the N16 front suspension: The noise at 4:06 is pretty much what I have on my Almera during relatively higher undulations. The narrator did mention that he was going to spray silicone lubricant on it to make it go away. I didn't have any silicone lubricant at...

It's pretty quiet here, isn't it?

Ah, but does yours have mudflaps? lol. Reading your other thread it appears you have a diesel. Good job keeping it maintained. I just replaced the power steering belt on mine due to it squeaking.

It's pretty quiet here, isn't it?

It's interesting. Once you own one, you start to notice them more on the road! I was at my local ASDA and saw one identical to mine. Ice(?) blue, 54-plate with mudflaps too!
