I've not owned or sold an Autech engine. I fitted one for somebody a number of years ago which is the one that is seen on my YouTube account. That's about it really.

Well I'd say it's definitely span a bearing if not a few, it happened to my first SR, was totally random and was just down to years of abuse and probably wear! As others have said I would confidently say the crank is scrap, and possibly 1 or more rods will be too. You need to get the sumps off...

Argh I've just seen this!!! Gutted G... The video had me covering my eyes and ears man fuck!!! I've done 2 sets of bearings but never leaned on an SR while it's sounding like that! Cringe worthy. Sell me the car lol

I have a BMW 330d that I drive daily and drift, the Almera is just a total toy for the weekends and after driving a RWD car the feeling of response and that you get with a sorted FWD car is just second to none. I still get enjoyment from FWD.

You would need to use the whole s14 loom and every sensor, plus the S14 is lower compression so it probably wouldn't run it brilliantly! I wouldn't bother mate to be fair. Mapping is the biggest pain in the backside, whatever you do, it's going to cost you roughly £500 to get it set up properly.

Depends what you want to do really... if you want to race stuff on the road turbo it all day. If you want it to be reliable and do track days etc, then just strip it and give it breathing mods (160-170hp)
