heated rear window not working

Hi to you all, Have just purchased a 2002 1500SE with 64.000 on the clock,after my Seat Leon expired, the only thing not working is the heated rear window, switch light does not come on. Thought check fuses first but the ones behind/under right hand side of the dash have a hinged storage...
