Advice on replacing Gearbox N15 GTI

Hi all,

Just looking for some advice on replacing the gearbox and clutch on my n15 gti (my mate will be doing this on driveway btw) . What should he look out for? Any tips? Best way to go around this?

I believe he has everything but a list would be nice lol just making sure I am not missing anything before he starts lol. Thanks
 
maybe you could ask.. what goes wrong?
drain plug seizes/strips thread.
axles wont come out
rooted gearbox axles seals
gearbox falls on head.

advice.
use an n15 box, not an n14.
machine your flywheel
buy a decent clutch
use the alignment tool
buy good transmission oil
buy a case or two of beer.
