N16 Cockpit fuse box location?

Hi
First post from me which is a bit basic and a little embarrassed to ask----but manual states that the above fuse box is under steering wheel which is pretty normal. But I can't for the life of me find it there.
There is a small drop down compartment to the right of the column which is reluctant to remove, and I can feel a large chunk of wiring loom behind it, so how does one access this?
Ps........d aren't break the dash as it's the wife's shopping car!

Edited to say that all is well now, having been a little braver with the plastic lid/cover.

You have to take the drop down out, theyre under it

Yes, thanks both. As you say more force was required.
Had to put a bigger fuse in cig socket to run my 12v kettle! I know it is probably not recommended but have done this before on other vehicles with no problem. Did try to run a separate twin cable direct to accessory socket but found it difficult to find a route for this through bulkhead.
