Tbh im thinking of building my own anyway. Because I might want the head unit in a different place with my custom job I'll be doing, gauges and what not.

Main thing is getting the heater controls mounted right.

Right had a check and there is no frame so to speak the dashboard has the frame as a part of its structure. Therefore with any luck they didn't change the dash overly between phase 1 & later phase 2's

Thanks Rich. I'll be able to confirm ph2 moulding soon and will also take pics. Pretty sure it'll be the same though because of the ph2 S and Pulse model.

Confirmed, manual control mounted into a ph2 dash. Looks like Nissan kept it the same

Similar to the one in my p2, see cd player how-to thread. But the p1 has one DIN mouting at the top and one at the bottom.

Something more bespoke, screws in to the threaded holes just below the air vents and in to the bottom threaded holes, also locates on some of the 'pins' sticking out
