Hi All, I've met a few of you all and I'm close friends with Chunk... If I am honest the communities for s14 just aren't as good as here so I'm going to stick around for a bit ;)

This was my PH1 Almera GTI: (which the progress thread is on here)

This is how I bought the S14

Only modification was a HKS Exhaust system...

Since then I have a spec sheet as below:
- Carbon Fibre Bonnet (to replace the destroyed one)
- Japspeed Decat
- HKS Exhaust System
- HKS air filter
- HKS boost gauge
- HKS Front mount intercooler
- HKS Hard pipe intake
- HSD Monopro Coilovers
- HRC 255 Fuel pump
- Stage 1a Horsham Developments ECU
- Advan Zelda Tri Star alloys
- S14A Touring sideskirts
- Bleed valve system boost controller
- Yellow headlight bulbs
- D1 Gearknob
- Private plate (awaiting documentation)
- Uprated hotpipe
- Halfords micro battery

Not to all of your taste I can imagine, but it's great fun!

The ride hight is now a bit higher at the back a slightly lower at the front (same as last photo) it's far from perfect, but it will get there =)

Oh and yes I am on the 2nd gearbox already... =(

Haha, I kept the Almera in my friendship group though ;) I can tell you exactly where it is right now! Abbotts road, Haverhill, Suffolk, CB9 ;)

Chunk had it whilst he fitted the new engine and turbo! and now Adam has it as a daily... I could even buy it back yet as a winter car!
 
Haha, Nooo I have much to buy for the S14 before I buy a 2nd car!! Shopping list is huge and will probably get even bigger after DWYB at Santa Pod on the 20th November!

Best get a welded diff sorted before you do that day ;) or it might as well be a. "Understeer what you brung" day for you ;)

Welded Auto diff shall be arriving on Friday 1st November ;) But as long as I drive the S14 we won't have to worry about understeer ;)

(ps, all my tracking arms are being ordered on payday then a 4 wheel alignment to stop all this gay camber and toe!)
 
Since the private plate went on my apexi camber arms have arrived and been fitted - new ends for good measure:

Unfortunately the front bumper as dropped a tiny bit leaving a gap on the drivers side... So I need to fiddle with the bumper fitment!

Kouki Spoiler turned up too! Needs some TLC, but nothing some elbow grease will not sort out:

Then last but not least I have swapped my S14 Manual 3.7 VLSD (80k miles) for a Skyline R33 Auto 4.3 Diff which has been welded up for POD... Oh and I have the R33 driveshafts too so the lengths are right (and a bit thicker)... Brand new Fuchs Silkolene V-Twin high impact 80w90 diff oil in there too which will be topped up with some Slick80 or Redline additive for good measure!

I just need to give it a service and she's ready for POD a week on Wednesday! =)
 
Ooh takes me back. I'll have to dig out some pics of mine. I do miss rwd but I was barely mediocre at drifting. And the lag from the 3071 got boring.

Please do! They're great cars! I wanted to use it as a gap car for a year until I could build another FD... But I'm enjoying this too much to think about that project!

Not much has changed, I have given her a service again with the full love package,

HKS oil filter
Fuchs Titan Race Pro S 10w50
Magnetic Sump Plug
NGK BKR7E's

Then I took her to pod! - Unfortunately I didn't get many photo's or videos...

I spent the first half of the day in the pens just having a little play, then I moved onto the kidney course... This is how I got on in my first outing:

I got more and more angle, braver and braver... So I decided I would try the big course... With 4-8 other cars... Maxing out 3rd gear round the long straight. It didn't go to well, the 2nd gear corners were okay, it was just the 3rd gear long straight I wasn't very good at, mostly cutting it short and hitting the cones... Until I ate one up and got waved off the course *shakes own head*
