Hmmmmm, never noticed that until now. Dunnoh bud, that's how I bought the car. To be honest, I think that they look better that way as it seems to follow the contours of the body better.
Just my opinion though!
I don't know yet to be honest. They came from my Micra, which had about 100 miles total of track abuse, but they seem to be holding up well...still plenty of tread.

Looks awesome mate, very nice sleeper; subtle and a little mean but understated and with just enough hints for the observant not to challenge it at the lights.
