Which N16

I am looking to buy an N16. I want a vehicle that is reliable and not too technical. A car i can fix on the driveway.
My choice at the moment would be the 1.5 S varient. I don't want the dash with the big screen , i want to be able to fit a single din radio.
Is there anything i should be looking out for, any known faults.
I know they did a facelift around 2002 and around that time fitted a stronger timing chain too the petrol engines.

Any input would be appreciated .

I have N16 2003 lmera pulse face-lift factory radio s/din is good headlights much better basic model easy to maintain but mine as steel wheels alloys would finish it off
