An exedy OEM is more than enough for your needs anything else is only to expand your spec list

G Spec Stage 3 is basically the best OEM disc you can buy (B15 Nissan Dual Sprung) combined with a JWT Uprated Pressure plate. This is what I have chosen for my build as it's nice to drive with, and fairly strong, and if you screw up the disc, a new one is about £40-50 from Nissan (Craig will verify the exact price).
The ACT Clutch was by far the best Clutch I've ever personally ran - pedal was OEM fresh, but the bite was un testable.. Never missed a beat for about a year plus, it felt solid but was featherable in traffic. All was good until it spat the springs doing GPS timed 0-60's on a dry road with soft R888's...
Can't go wrong with either TBH - I'd buy another ACT but I can't afford one this time and that's the only reason I've bought this Gspec.

Just had a look on Gspec found the stage 3 setup works out about the same price as the JWT setup

Anyone here actually driven with a 6 puck/solid centre? (a good quality one, not xtd)

I use Advan AD08 tyres now which are alot more grippy then my old toyo T1R's id feel worried to do a burnout or few drag launches later on, on something equivlent to oem level like exedy/nissan oem

But if the ACT/Gpsec one would do that would be great, but seem to hear too many people on here shitting springs out :(

I run a xtd stage3 it's great I run toyoR888's and a cusco diff I spin both wheels and the xtd hadn't slipped once its perfect IV done drag launches at 5800rpm and generally beat like fuck on my car Ask any of the Irish lads how I drive I would kill a bad clutch in a few days.

Exedy OEM will be fine for you it will be fine for me too when I need to change I just bought the xtd to see if it was any good.

But a exedy or xtd wont suit you cause of you being a brand whore.

This is true, he does beat like fuck on his car lol

a solid center disc is the quickest way to shock your gearbox to failure.

like i said. my 6puck HD ACT is sweet, oem pedal feel, nice to drive, good in traffic, good on the strip, good on spirited driving, never slipped once in 5k so far.

only reason i upgraded was cause ultimately i will be throwing 300ftlbs at the clutch, which slipped at 200.

think ours worked out to be about £250 delivered each, shipped by UPS, took less than a week to come. 250 quid well spent IMO. if the springs fall out, a new disc is about $70... but at least i have the pressure plate i can rely on for my torque output.

edit

i slipped my XTD stage 3 on drag launches. they are GARBAGE.

Mines holding up really well even when I hook up the Tyres well others on Inoc are having issues with ones bought off aimco clutch there knock off of xtd knock offs

Sorry mate. Just checked my inbox and there are two there from you. Didn't get a pop-up notification so didn't bother checking (Lazy!). Sorted anyway.

Curiosity is not the word you were looking for.
Good upgrades tbh, can't help but think that beefy brace is overkill, may as well get a tubular cage in my eyes?
