N15 gti lop sided

Hi guys something has been bugging me just recently and that is that I've noticed that the drivers side sits about half an inch lower than the passenger ......now ive had all wheels off and checked for movement and there was none i have replaced drop links tie rod ends springs shocks swapped tyres around and its still there does any one have or had this problem oh and doesnt affect the way the car drives at all all advice welcome cheers

Sounds daft but is the ground perfectly level that the car is sat on. If it's even slightly out the car may appear to be lower one side.

Hi guys been doing abit of research and was wondering would a bent swaybar cause the difference in ride height as i was thinking or replacing the swaybar and uprating the bushes as i heard also that it could be a preloaded problem and im determined to get to the bottom of it lol ....or could worn bushes in the control arms cause this problem as the things replaced are... Track rod ends, droplinks, struts, springs, all help welcome and no its not a fat kid hiding in my footwell lol cheers guys

Ive had the stuts and springs apart and changed everything possible including rubbers and checked springs and stuts and there are good thats why its buggin me

Is it possible that over time the springs may have gone weak and sagged ? When you use the car is it mostly you in the drivers side and the rest of the car empty ? Constant weight in only one corner may not help if you understand what im trying to get at.

All i'm saying is that those are the only two causes so it's that. Is one spring a lowering spring by some accident or a need to get through an MOT at some point? How about a picture of the difference, for all we know you could just be mental.
I tend to have a little ocd when it comes to little niggles lol but on the plus side ive just ordered some new springs for the front end so will update following as if i buy new parts it surely eliminates that part from the equation

Different phase front strut on the lower front side? They have a different lower spring perch which alters the ride height.

Yes i get what you mean and yeah its only me in car 90 percent of the time and as stated above ordered new springs but im no fat heffer so didnt think that could be a cause but hey ho lol

Plus the ride height difference is more than 30mm its a good inch or so but at least i have another thing to check and eliminate. Cheers
