N16 audio wiring codes

Hi all.

I have bought one of those mp3 boxes and I need a 12v and acc connection.

Now I have seen the below which shows me where the acc connection is, but which of these is the 12v? Please don't ask me to use a multimeter because I don't have one and I want to connect it today. If the ONLY way to find out is using a multimeter then I accept that, but if 12v could be labeled as something else here then please advise me.

Thank you!

Ok, Just been in my car. The image is wrong.

The manual states this:
Power is supplied at all times
+through 15A fuse (No. 32, located in the fusible link and fuse block)
+to audio unit terminal 9
+to CD auto changer terminal 32.

With the ignition switch in the ACC or ON position, power is supplied
+through 10A fuse [No. 1, located in the fuse block (J/B)]
+to audio unit terminal 3,
+to CD auto changer terminal 36 and

Ground is supplied through the case of the audio unit.

Audio signals are supplied
+through audio unit terminals 7, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16
+to terminals 1 and 2 of front door speaker LH and RH,
+to terminals 1 and 2 of rear door speaker LH and RH and
+to terminals 1 and 2 of pillar tweeter LH and RH (with 6 speakers)
Manual images are attached as well as actual ports. The actual ports have descriptions underneath the CD player but it's quite hard to see without dismantling the whole thing.

So anyway, now I know where to splice the acc, but which number do I splice the cable which requires "Power 12v"? Surely that can't mean it requires constant power and therefore it means I can also just splice it into acc!

It should work if you wire it both to the switched live, but if it says put it to permanent live, there may be a reason for it. (settings etc)

Hi.

I can confirm that this works. I connected them both together to the acc wire so I only had to splice one original wire.

Thanks for your help :)

Hmm surely it's worth finding the correct power source as some MP3 players will charge for a brief time after the device & engine are off. Also keeps settings etc for your device.
