Those bits of loom go to 2 small plugs about 6 inches from the ECU.

Drums will cope fine. If you swap the n16 rear beam you will need to use 4x114 wheels and the complete brake setup, you can't mix/match the parts.

unplug the ecu and pull the loom through the firewall, take the loom out with the engine.
