both systems look equally well made

I read somewhere that wrapping the header has the downside that with the heat the wrap can sort of merge itself to the header and cause damage to it. Not sure if this is true?

In short yes there are risks, but I plan to reduce risk somewhat with good prep and sealing thermal spray.

I could allways get a turbo timer, leave the car running for abit after taking keys out. Would burn off any excess moisture ... there really is an awnser for everything just depends how much ££ and how far your willing to take it

its not as simple as water...

exhaust wrap if incorrectly applied forms hot spots, which leads to differential thermal expansion, which in stainless steel leads to cracking.
