Eddies Ride

Going by most 'southern' prices I've seen, £750 is about right for a blowover. Looking at £1000 minimum for respray. Bodyshops are super expensive down here unless you go on mates rates.

1. Thats just weird on something that nobody hardly sees!
2. How much money do you have that you can spend £100 odd or more for no advantage at all, Id say get cams instead but your cam thread was a mammoth! S3Rs in the trading post.....
 
Loving the build Eddie! This one pimps the SRi even if you do miss it :) Good job with all the Auto Glym.... Loving the pics, I will have to cruise up for a detailing session one weekend when the weather gets a bit nicer!

Good to see you updating the thread, I need to post some more on mine just got no money so I don't have much to post about lol!

Once I have my cams in I'm gonna look toward doing more handling mods so would be awesome to feel what your cars like now.
 
chris speaks for us all and i for one thank you. eddie is just eddie, i guess every forum has one. tbf we all know what to expect when clicking on this thread, so why complain right.

eddie great buy on the Hi-Def, i LOVE the stuff. i love the whole range to be fair. however learning how to use each one and when, is part of the skill. anyone can clean a car to say 90%, its that extra 10% is what makes all the difference. example i drove down to JAE in 09' parked up and won the show n shine, not even a 60% effort. last year i went to 80% effort thinking its enough, however matt (OCD chairman) went that bit further and beat us all.

i read loads of reviews and i myself used autoglym for years then read about all the chalk in their products and this stuff came up over and over again so as soon as i use it will give a full review on it
 
eddie im not trying to cause an arguement here pal.
wax won't have any chalk in as its wax mate but im more on about polish and other products pal

Chalk & fillers is common in most polishes etc, SRP has bits in etc to fill gaps.. some people just put too much on or can't polish for shit :lol:

My gf left chalk like residue when she had a go with the Autoglym polish, then she showed me how much she was using and it was kinda obvious... :cowboy:

so when did i slat it??. all i stated was a fact and also added i used autoglym for years then relised many autoglym products contain chalk so i add I READ UP ABOUT DIFFERENT PRODUCTS and found the product above which had many good reviews and with you on about having your car sprayed i was trying to help but like always your to dim to see when someone is trying to help you.
