How low should Daiyamas go?

Evening, I have some Daiyama gen 1 coilovers on my car, Since I've had it the rear has sat much higher than the front. I've messed with the ride heights but this is the rears set to their lowest position and the fronts still have room for adjustment. Surely something's wrong here?

Was thinking maybe the springs are on the wrong way (ie front springs on the rear shocks?) if that's even possible?

Picture to show the height difference:

Yeh as Sam said... They don't go very low on the back, but do on the front. (Gen 2's that is).
I think the Gen 1's went much lower IIRC..

I am pretty sure a member had some custom bottom mounts made up for the Gen 2's which allowed you to reduced the overall length of shock a lot more, but that was ages ago!

Someone on here offered me modified top mounts for sale, message has dissappeard though. Possibly spyke, should bring the back down a bit more.

Top mounts will make no difference, the bottom collar of the coilover is physically too long.

Craig had pitchy (banned now) machine him some shorter collars, don't know where they went after he sold them though.

The custom top mounts Cov made for me lowered it by another 10-15mm because of the design.
