Mov's Micra

Go see the lads at z cars at aldborough, got proper blitzed by one of their mini's on the way home from work last week lol

Lol, my pockets aren't deep enough for anything Z Cars related!

It'll be a backyard conversion like the Outlawz effort.

(I'm thinking N15 GTi front end cobbled into the Micras arse!)

That is some shocking welding!!

I take it that you are using micra outer CVs?

Yes using micra outer cv

yeah but the problem is, its like tacking a long weld, it sticks a bit but you dont actually get any penetration and so end up with a piss weak weld.

Iv done that, so hopefully no problems

how do you know its very very strong?

Had the engine in for a week with just a spot weld and held fine

obviously i will find out once i start driving it ;D

Hats off to you guys, you really do get stuck in!

Nice little project, which will be hoot to drive.

Its called the birdshit method iirc...

Good progress all the same.

Cheers everyone for the comments... its not a professional job but something we can improve/learn on

Shaftec in charleville damo had them do that exact job on my black one man. it was years ago but remember thinking they were reasonable at the time!

Things are looking good so far lads, hope the wiring goes as well as the rest of the build and get this bitch rolling!

Nice work, you lot must have been flat out the last while to get this much sorted! Is the wiring completed then?

Huge progress boys. Excellent stuff. I'd defo get those seats cleaned up though. Should be a right little pocket rocket when finished. Good luck with the rest of the build.
