N16 1.5s electric window failure

Hello all! I'm sorry if this is in the wrong section but I really need help! I have a 1.5s N16 2 door X reg (2000) Its my much loved car but I recently well yesterday) took my car to a local garage for an mot - it passed no problems but I have had it come back with the electric windows completely DEAD! The central locking switch on the door control module still works but but windows don't work at all.

I took it there with absolutely NO faults and now this? Any ideas what it could be? the garage checked it, guessed it might be the body control module, shrugged their shoulders and basically told me to jog on!

Im really stuck now and desperately need some help with this one!

Check fuses and relay.

I had this problem but can't remember if it was in my N16 or last N15. Problem was relay. It's behind the fusebox under the steering wheel. I'm pretty sure there is another relay (for heater I think) with the same spec in there you can swap and see if that fixes the problem. New relay from Nissan was About £30 I think.
 
I've had that problem before. It was that relay, shorted it and now the windows work even with the key out of ignition, which for me it's nice because sometimes i realise that i forgot to roll up the windows, and i can do it without taking the key out of the pocket...
Nevermind that red wire, just short it like that.
