what are the two senders

cant even say ive spotted sensors next to the oil filter on me GTi lol not much room down there, i know the n16 has the crank sensor there, changed loads under the recall
 
As Steve says, the two water temp sensors. The single wire one is for the gauge and the two wire one is for the ECU.

your right theres no room at all in there try fitting a oil presure plate in there it doesnt work where abouts is the oil presure sender ???


oh and it is a gti and a p1
 
there`s loads of room! lol the stock pressure switch is under the oil filter, accessed from under the car.
 
i dont know how you went on ive butched my hands trying to get my sandwich plate to seal properly and i still get oil leaks

ok i have a new question does the pipe on the rocker cover at the front of the motor cary any oil or is it just vapour ???????????????
 
daft question?..you have got the plate the right way round?.......with the `O` ring nearest the block? That pipes only a breather.
 
yeah i have the o ring the right way even tryed a cork gasket as well as the o ring

my next atempt at having a neet plumb in oil presure and temp was the factory sender and a remote line with a t peace

anyone know what thread size the original sender is ???????????????
