Almera CarBQ

I dont think you understand what im going to to do for the lights Wolve. The standard FRONT lights will be converted to be used as rear lights. It will look exactly like the front end of a mera. (only multi-coloured)

I didnt get round to doing any of the carbq last weekend, but ive been out there today and done a bit.

As you can see there is shelving/side panels now, the back bit fits 2 gas camping stoves so you can have pans on the go for onions, fried eggs ect ect and the sides will be for the uncooked meat on one and rolls/sauce on the other!

Ive also got the CVs off some old GA shafts and put them back in the hubs. At some point in the week ill tidy up the outside of the bulkhead (bit of cutting and sheeting), paint the bulkhead and the inside with BBQ paint, weld on the drawbar and tow hitch, weld up the steering rack and then a quick clean/polish/wax and its time for a test drive and dine. :)

Getting there slowly but surely!

This is one of the greatest things I've ever seen. Excellent work buddy. Looks like it's all been really well thought out and fabricated brilliantly. I'd like to see this glowing away after dark.

I originally intended to use the rear, keeping the back doors aswell but it was too big and would have been a pain to store ect. So i scrapped that and went with the front!

I wouldnt go as far as 'fabricated brilliantly' Its mainly held together with seagul shit, but function over form and all that!

There wasnt anything worth selling. Tried but nobody wanted any of it! It was only a 5dr GX anyhow.

hmm ok, if the rear bumper and bumper support would have been good, would have taken em, mum's mota is a gx, got a few damaged parts would have just tidied it up, was the same silver colour as well...no worries..

Ah right, the breaking thread went up months and months ago but to no avail. So didnt bother keeping any bits!

well done liam! I can picture it now, burgers flying off quick time, nom!

only concern i would have is having gas canisters being heated by the barbeque eek
