Sorry, i don't know where else to post this but need some info if anyone knows.
I went to the g/f's house today and locked up the car with the fob as i normally do. When i left 4 hours later the car wouldn't unlock with either fob. So i got her to take me home to get the master one only to find it doesn't work for whatever reason, even after i changed the battery.
So now, the car is stuck outside hers up the street infront of some random persons house. I didn't want to unlock the car with the key as i thought the alarm wont disarm.
If i do open with the key, can i remove the battery to kill the alarm siren or does it have an internal battery to keep going (which i imagine it would) so i would have to try and remove that.. And even if i do, will the car start up with the key?
If im lucky it'll respond again in the morning then im never using the fob again, i'll stick to locking it with the key!
