Thanks bud. Front plate is on my to buy list as well as a few other bits.
As for the import wings, I've still got the original autech ones but couldn't be bothered to put them on at the time. I was just desperate to get the car on the road.
Still not sure about the spoiler, the autech one is just sat in the garage. I was thinking about a N1 spoiler but people are wanting over £250-350 for them and to be honest I rather put that money in the tank and enjoy the car at the moment.
Little update.
Tried the other ecu with nistune again but no luck. Once the key is on ignition the radiator fans seem to come on and stay on. The car idles at 1700rpm and doesnt settle once warm. When I pushed the accelerator its hesitant as though its misfiring. Tried 3 different gti mafs but they were the same. I'm going to stick to the Autech standard ecu for now.
Ordered a new fuel filter and front plate. Need to invest in some good quality brake pads but not sure which to go for.
