I always thought heat wrap had to be applied wet? Was I mislead?
Yeah i was thinking the same as well.....I did apply water on my heat wrap, it supposes tell you on the instruction.
Btw car is looking good :D BLUE FTW

It doesn't Ross  I just went next door and managed to poke all the holes with a pen quite easily

mm is a nice ride that sam..Quite like the 'APEX ECV EXHAUST CONTROL VALVE' might be a good idea if getting a 3'' system with the consideration of it being a daily

trust me. hard enough to tighten the bolts on that header without the exhaust wrap.

gonna be a struggle.

Can't be any worse then the manifold fitment on the GA surely, almost took a hammer to it in the end

you have to fit the two center flange nuts before you push the header to the head. and you need a 1/4" drive socket set to tighten them

then you have the 4-2 flange. there is no access with a ratchet on 2 of the bolts and one of them is difficult access with a spanner.

mine kept coming loose too. so recommend getting brass nuts

yeh its the 2 middle ones, the left especially. i wouldn't have wrap right up to there or it'll be nigh on impossible

It depends on what they use in the locknuts, if they are nylon locknuts the "lock"nuts will only last 1/4 of an hour id bet
