updates on the n14 vvl/ nos/ lsd project

Hats of to you tho for racing your car tho mate and pushing it to the limits cos there are alot of fannys on here that are too scared to race their car incase they brake it, I say if Craig thinks he can beat your car he should stop being wet and do it already.

lolololorama

this threads gone from amusing to ridiculous

as sim said i thought York was actually meant to be below average if anything, therefore wezz and dans times are even better.

oh and as for me thinking i would beat anyones time or anything.......erm how can i put it.........oh yeh I don't care

I built my car/engine for me and my own satisfaction and to actually use on the roads. I didn't build it for some 1/4 mile table on some forum.

Then stop banging on about if I had my car I would get this and get that, and beat this time, and get that time. LOL..you failed boy...and gave up.

Yours is a turbo tho ;)

Nos you still comming to Santapod in october? looking forward to seeing it in the flesh. Don't think your pictures do the car justice tbh

Until i get some tailgate pins and manage to secure it properly as it's so light it will be running in ugly mode..

See you next week.

I ran like this over the weekend at the pod.
I was angry as it was rainning and had heavy winds going against us, so left early, wasted my money going but still happy to run 14.76.
Then the weather was getting worse as well as the times low 15's, then they closed the track for 2 hours.
So i thought before it's gets dry again it will be 2-3pm, so left.

But it's a test to see what difference the rear would make.
Just hope it's dry next weekend with no headwinds.

4x4 turbos were hitting high 13's just to show how bad it was.

The pod have a new system where they can either print your times on a single a4 or wait to the end and print them all on 1 a4 sheet for you.
Prefered the old way but they said it's easier for them.
Think I left my sheet in the glove box so will check this evening.

what were your trap speeds for your 14.76 runs at the pod, in fairness you 200bhp car should be trapping in and around 98mph+,what gearing is in your car also? are you using t1rs?

I'll check when it get home think it was similar to my 14.59 run, around 91-93mph.
Crossing line in 3rd, sometimes 4th.
Practicing different techniques each run.
I run with an LSD gear box will post gear ratios from that later to see if that is the cause for low terminals.
T1r's only at the front, cheap budget tyres on the rear.
I also have a short shifter, think one of those b&m ones.
